Highly experienced Karate Instructor with over 20 years teaching karate.

Students include industry leaders, celebrities, political families, businessmen, professionals, security professionals, VIP escorts, college/high school/elementary students.

Has taught in prestigious gyms/fitness centers such as the Manila Polo Club, The Oakwood (now Ascott) Makati, YMCA, Bullhammer Gym, and others.

Sensei Sonny started training under the Japan Karate Association (JKA) Philippines Honbu (Headquarters) with Shihan Gal Hinayon as his primary instructor.  He also trained under other JKA instructors such as Oscar Obsioma, Jerome Logan and other high quality teachers.  He is currently affiliated to the Shotokan Karate Academy and is a senior instructor and director of the organization.

Currently teaches at the SKA Pasay Branch on weekends.  In some mornings you may also join him for informal lessons at the Neopolitan Business Park in North Fairview.  He also accepts private lessons and special training programs for individuals or groups.
